Don’t miss the early bird deadline! For one thing, it’s cheaper. $50 cheaper. For another thing, we need to know as far in advance how many campers we’re going to have so we can get enough staff. Registrations that come in later may not be accepted if we can’t find staff to cover those numbers of campers.
So register now and make sure you have a space!

The St. Mary’s Road United Church CGIT group (613 St. Mary’s Rd) is starting up for the year on Tuesday, September 22nd. We will meet every second Tuesday from 7:30-9:00pm. All girls ages 12-17 are welcome. The SMRUC group is currently the only group in the city. We realize it is a long way to go for some. If you are interested in starting a group at your church, email cgit@cgitmanitoba.ca.
Our first order of business will be decorating t-shirts. Please bring $10 if you’d like to do a shirt. We will have the shirts and puffy paint, etc.
Don’t miss the 100th Anniversary Tea on September 19th from 1-4pm at The United Church in Meadowood. And thanks to the Winnipeg Free Press for this lovely article about it and about CGIT.
Hey CGIT camper family and friends,
We had an awesome day. We talked about the beauty in our words and how important they are to convey certain messages. We did some water gun painting, kayaking, painting rocks, had a talent show, and any other great activities. As it is our last night, we had a good bye service and we all hugged and are sad to see camp coming to an end.

Hey CGIT family and friends,
Today was our ‘Beauty in the Media’ day at camp. We had great discussions, did some canoeing and swimming, it was such a beautiful day! Then we did a photo shoot with make up and hair and tiaras. After that we had a formal dinner, it was lovely. We finished with vespers and campfire. Crystal and Sylvia read more of ‘The Giver’ for the girls at bed time. What a great day! I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Hello CGIT family and friends,
Today was day 2 of our fabulous camp.
We had a wonderful discussion with some guests that told us some stories about their CGIT or camp experiences. It was great to hear about what it was like for them.
It was a very cold day so we only went swimming for a short time after making jewellery and friendship bracelets.
We had a great vesper service run by the girls and then went to the new lodge to watch ‘Into the Woods’ and have a snack. Sylvia continued ‘The Giver’ which we are very much enjoying!
Have a wonderful night!
Love,
Your Camper
Dear Family,
Hi!
Things started out a bit wet but it soon cleared up. We played some fun get to know you games, had a delicious dinner had Vespers, campfire, and snack. It’s looking like tomorrow might be a cool day, but we have lots of fun things planned

Your Camper
